We are Chick Parents

May 3rd! Is hatch Day!!!  We are all so excited to be chick parents.  We got to feel them moving inside the shells and see how they work so hard to get out.  They are wet and then exhausted and rest.

They feel warm.  We can hear them chirp and feel their movement inside the egg!!! How amazing!

Look how squished they are in there... wow!

"Boy am I so tired from all that work!!!"

The blood is from the yolk sac and not the chicks!  Kids were very curious about this today...

    1. This is my class blog for young learners and I don't appreciate the choice of language the unknown person used, especially since they couldn't put their name to it!
