Our Park Adventure and Observations

Today was a beautiful day to go to the park.  The sun was shinning and the wind was blowing through the branches.  All the kids were excited.  We made lots of observations at each of our 'listening spots'.  Everyone was surprised to see how much growth had occurred from last week.  We were disappointed last week that the Trilliums that we were observing were gone :(  Fortunately we were able to find another one on the side of the hill.

We found lots of Banana slugs!

How do they stick to the side of the tree????

"We noticed our Trillium has turned purple and in the middle there is a green pod???"

"We wonder if the small one beside the tall one will develop a flower too?"

The flowers have turned into green berries... we wonder what colour they will turn????
